Pikinini Playtime has successfully completed a series of professional development workshops across its campuses in Port Vila, Santo, and Tanna, reinforcing its commitment to quality education and effective classroom practice ahead of the 2026 school year.

The training focused on strengthening classroom practice through effective lesson planning, positive behaviour management, and purposeful teaching. These areas are essential to ensuring teachers are well equipped to support student learning and wellbeing in early childhood and primary education settings. READ MORE HERE

Pikinini Playtime has kickstarted 2026 on a high note, as this year marks history with its first deaf student passing Year 10, believed to be a first for Vanuatu.When Michael Benneth Aru was born, he was hearing impaired and consequently never learned to talk. In Vanuatu, that meant he would have had no opportunity to attend school and learn alongside other children. His future employment prospects were non-existent.

But on Friday, 9 January, the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) announced the Year 10 results, and Michael passed and was allocated to Year 11. READ MORE HERE
